Pastor Victoria E. Johnson-Jones

Pastor Jones was born and raised in Acworth, Georgia.  It was in this small town of Acworth that she begun to follow her dreams to impact society by helping others to define and redefine their lives. 

In February 1998, Pastor Jones accepted her call to the Gospel Ministry and was ordained in March, 2001.  She is currently serving as the Co- Pastor of Refuge Ministries under the leadership of her husband, Bishop Vincent J. Jones. 

Pastor Jones attended undergraduate school at Kennesaw State University where she served in a number of student organizations.  Additionally, she became a member of one of the greatest community service organizations, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.  She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in December, 1995.  In January 1996, she began work on her Masters degree at Clark Atlanta University.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology in December, 1998.  Thereafter, Pastor Jones continued her studies at Clark Atlanta and obtained a second Masters degree in School Counseling.   Pastor Jones has also continued the process to complete her Doctorate degree in Counseling, as well.    

She is employed by Georgia Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries, Inc. as the Program Director for the Nelson Price Treatment Center.   She operates in this capacity as a Director as well as a International-Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.  This program provides treatment for adolescents and families struggling with addiction related issues.     

In October, 2003 God allowed Pastor Jones to begin a ministry called SOULutions.  This ministry was set aside by God to provide strategies and interventions for living that will serve as a catalyst for “Resolving the Issues of the Soul” by utilizing God’s Word to address unresolved life issues, dismantle strongholds and to begin walking in the healing promise of God.  SOULutions is a ministry that seeks to access the life-changing power of God through the renewing of the mind, the body and the spirit.  

Most importantly to know about Pastor Jones is that she is continuing to seek God’s will for her Life “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:…”. (Philippians 1:6)
