Our Mission Statement

Refuge Ministries solely exists for the purpose of proclaiming the Biblical truth found in God’s Word. Our vision and our mission is found in Matthew 28: 19-20. Our first and foremost purpose is to proclaim the Good News of our Father; the miraculous works of Jesus Christ and the awesome power of the Holy Spirit.

Refuge is God’s sanctuary of protection; a safe haven for His chosen people. A place where the hurting, the confused, the frustrated and the depressed can find first and foremost acceptance for who they are, love, forgiveness, hope, encouragement, stability, and guidance.  

We, as a church believe we have been called by God to help develop people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, seminars, and retreat workshops. We believe it’s our charge as a church to equip the Body of Christ to fulfill their purpose in the world so that God can get the glory. Our mission is to see lives changed and captives set free by the power of God. God works for us, but His best work is through us.
