• 1. Recognize that you are a sinner. God’s Word tells us in Romans 3:23 that everyone has sinned and we all fall short of God’s glorious standards.

• 2. God loves us, even though we are sinners. Romans 5:8 says that God showed His Great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

• 3. God made a way for us to be saved. Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. And Ephesian 2:8-9 says that by grace you are saved through faith; and not of ourselves; it is the gift of God.

• 4. There must be repentance of sin. (Turning away from) Romans 10:13 says everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

• 5. Take Action; Believe and Confess. Romans 10:9- 10 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

• 6. Result – Salvation. There is salvation in no one else. God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

To be saved, pray this prayer:

Lord, I ask You to forgive me for my sins and wrongdoings. I choose this day to turn away from these things and surrender and commit my life to you. I believe that You died on the cross for me and I believe that You were raised from the dead. I invite You into my life and I give You control. I repent of my sins and I accept You as my Lord and Savior right now. I believe that if I died today, I would be in Heaven with You. Thank You for giving me hope and a future. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus name, Amen.
